Stay in a 17th Century Welsh Longhouse and Working Mill

Our water mill at Pontdolgoch is now open to the public as a bed and breakfast. We offer the unique opportunity of staying in this 17th century Welsh longhouse.

Ty Coch is an award winning, fully intact Victorian water mill with an overshot water wheelpowering a traditional carpentry workshop which is in full working order (demonstrations on request) and was built alongside of the historic Welsh longhouse that dates from around 1650. The original byre is now our shop, selling antiques and bygones. There is also a range of outbuildings, most in use and some still occasionally home to livestock and one containsan early Rushton & Hornsby stationary engine.Pontdolgoch Mill
